LAPD Basic Car information:

Who Ya Gonna Call?

Granada Hills North's geographical territory is divided into two separate "Basic Car" areas, each managed by a Senior Lead Officer. Click on map above to determine your Basic Car Area. Although the Lead Officer for your area is your primary point of contact, there are four additional points of contact to assist you in resolving your crime or quality of life concern. These are as follows: the Basic Car Coordinator for your Basic Car Area, the Community Relations Officer in Charge, the Watch Commander, and the Commanding Officer for the Pacific Area Community Police Station. Names and contact information for some of these officers can be found in the table below.

911 or Non-Emergency?

9-1-1 is an emergency system for police, fire, or medical emergencies when there is an immediate threat to life or property, and must never be used for general questions or to report complaints such as loud music or verbal disputes. 9-1-1 abuse is a state misdemeanor. Report all suspicious activity to LAPD Direct Dispatch at 1-877-275-5273.
